Waiʻalae Beach Park (Kahala Beach)
*Best lighting in the early morning/sunrise

Features:

  • Bright turquoise water to walk along and splash in

  • Palm trees stretching over the beach to sit on and stand underneath

  • A small island with palm trees off-shore

  • Views of east Oʻahu, with Koko Head and Hanauma Bay craters in the distance

Magic Island Beach Park (Waikīkī/Honolulu)
*Recommended for anyone, especially those staying in Waikīkī/Honolulu

Features:

  • A beach lagoon

  • Palm trees

  • Banyan trees (large trees with many vine-like roots that form the trunk)

  • Views of Waikīkī, Diamond Head and West Oʻahu, as well as sunset views over the ocean

  • Hidden lake with reflections of the mountains above

  • Beach with views of Kāneʻohe Bay and the Koʻolau Mountain Range
